PermisBelges.be — the Belgian driving theory test in English
PermisBelges.be prepares you for the Belgian category B driving theory test, in English as well as in French and Dutch. It brings together highway code lessons, exam-style questions grouped by topic, timed mock exams and progress tracking that shows exactly which chapters you still need to revise.
The official exam is taken at an approved GOCA centre. It has fifty questions, one correct answer each, and about fifteen seconds to think per question. You need 41 points out of 50: a minor mistake costs one point, a serious mistake five. Two serious mistakes are enough to fail, even with 48 correct answers.
You can sit the exam in English in all three Regions, but not in the same way: an audio version in Flanders (€43 surcharge), an interpreter in Brussels (€50 surcharge), and selected centres in Wallonia. Practising in English on questions written for the Belgian highway code - rather than translating a British or American one - is what removes the language barrier.
You start for free, without a bank card: lessons, road signs and part of the questions are available as soon as you create an account. Premium adds unlimited mock exams and detailed statistics. The site works in any browser, on phone or computer, and the Android app uses the same account and the same progress.
