M2: « EXCEPT » + bicycle

M2 - « EXCEPT » + bicycle. Placed under a prohibition or obligation sign (C1 no entry, C3, C31, D1…), it indicates that the rule does not apply to cyclists. Example: C1 + M2 = no entry, except for cyclists. So expect to meet bicycles. (Limited one-way traffic, F19 + bicycles in both directions, uses panel M4.)
